Passing laws and passing more laws is frustrating if
nothing changes. We have laws about paying FICA taxes
out of wages. If the laws are not enforced, then the
Social Security gets in a tight way.

If the US and Mexico were to sign a reciprocal treaty
that some part of retirement taxes would be returned
to the worker's country, then Mexico would make sure
that Mexican workers in the US would insist that their
work gets registered and that FICA taxes get paid.

The big wall will cost big money. It will cause more
problems than it will solve.

the current situation perfectly. The employers who are
not paying FICA taxes are the "illegals" that are
being ignored.
