New York January 2007

Paulette and I went to New York for a quick five day visit. We did a bunch of plays: "Hairspray", "Putnum County Spelling Bee", and "Wicked". "Wicked" was definitely the best. It's a pre-quel to the Wizrd of Oz and we found out where the TinMan and the Red Slippers came from.


The Tee-Shirt vendors are still in business in January (some are 7 for 10$), and the subways signs about learning Ingles as a second language, or Spanish as a secomd language, have been replaced by "Learn Arabic as a second language". I couldn't understand the Chinese ads, but they were pretty much everywhere, too.


We did get some pink hats for Colette and Zoe which will keep their heads warm when they start crawling outside. They don't quite crawl yet, but they get around.




At Christmas dinner, Renee and Colette had a good laugh
